'Paran' Film Announces 1 Lakh Prize for Viewers: Here's How to Win
Kathmandu.
The family drama film 'Paran,' set for release next week (Kartik 14), has announced a NPR 1,00,000 (One Lakh Nepali Rupees) prize to further attract audiences to the film.
The production team launched the competition titled 'Mero Paran' (My Life/Soul) and announced the prize money. Those interested in participating must post a picture with their 'Paran'—whoever they consider their life or soul to be in their current life.
How to Participate:
Post a picture with your 'Paran.' This can be a father, mother, both parents, husband, wife, boyfriend, girlfriend, friend, or brother/sister.
In the caption, write 'Mero Paran' and share your feelings or story about them.
Tag the film's official Facebook page in the post.
Out of all the posts, one lucky winner will be selected via a lucky draw to win NPR 1,00,000, and one hundred participants will receive tickets to a special show of the film.
Additionally, to promote the film, volunteers with a QR code will be moving around different parts of the city. The first 50 people who scan the QR code and share the 'Paran' film's trailer or song will get the opportunity to watch the film alongside the cast members.
Participation in both competitions will be open for one week after the release, until Kartik 20.
'Paran' is being watched with special interest in the Nepali film industry due to the direct involvement of businessman Shekhar Golchha of Golchha Organization, who is one of the investors.
Ranjit Acharya, the head of the three-decade-old Prisma Advertising Agency, is also an investor. The arrival of these two prominent figures from the Nepali business market has raised expectations among the audience for a powerful film.
The film tells the story of a father and son. Senior actor Neer Shah plays the lead role. This is the debut film of director Deepak Prasad Acharya (Kaku), known for his work in Sakkigoni.
The trailer, released a while ago, has received a good response. The film features performances by Neer Shah, Madankrishna Shrestha, Pooja Chand, Keki Adhikari, Buddhi Tamang, Yaseli Yonghang, and others.
