Filming of Movie 'Captain Saab' Concluded

Kathmandu. The filming of the movie 'Captain Saab' has been completed. The shooting of the movie, which was done in two phases, was wrapped up on Wednesday.

The first phase of filming started on shrawan 10 last year. The second phase of filming was done two weeks ago. The movie was shot in Kavre, Kathmandu, and Birgunj.

The movie, directed by Dipendra K. Khanal, has been cinematographed by Krishna Bahadur Thapa. The movie 'Captain Saab' is a biopic of Captain Rameshwar Thapa. Rameshwar, who is also a pilot, is a businessman and media entrepreneur.

Presented by Patakatha Production, Yarsa Studio, and Rich Entertainment, the movie stars actor Khagendra Lamichhane, actress Surakshya Panta, and Sanjog Rasaili in the lead roles.

Dipendra had previously cast Khagendra and Surakshya in the lead roles in 'Dhanapati'. Since then, this is the second time the three of them have collaborated on the same movie. Dipendra and Khagendra, however, have been working together regularly.

The producers of this movie are director Dipendra himself and Karan Shrestha. Srijana Napit is the executive producer.

Written by director Dipendra K. Khanal himself, the movie features Saugat Basnet as the chief assistant director, Samrat Basnet as the conflict director, Eki Thekpa as the production designer, Rohit Raj Gautam as the HOP, and Bishnu Budhathoki as the production manager.
