"Roll No. 1" Supported by Schools and Students
Kathmandu. The movie "Roll No. 1" has received the support of students and parents. Students and parents who watched the cinema have praised "Roll No. 1".
Those who watched the cinema have said that they will come to watch "Roll No. 1" again.
"Our movie has the support of students and schools. Everyone who watches it says—it is not enough for just us to watch it, we will come to watch it again with our parents," said producer Binod Paudel. "When students come, they say they will bring their parents too. When parents come and watch, they say they should bring their children to watch it too."
He said that "Roll No. 1" has received the support of both students and parents. Producer Paudel stated that both parents and students are convinced by the questions raised by the cinema regarding the Nepali educational system and its evaluation methods.
He mentioned that since the audience liked the movie, the word of mouth is also good. Lately, schools have been booking entire shows to watch this movie. Videos and photos of schools booking shows and watching it are frequently seen on social media. The production team stated that the shows received by the cinema are becoming housefull after students went to watch it.
The production team is confident that "Roll No. 1" will run for a long time as audiences are coming to watch the cinema this way. Audiences watching the cinema are praising it, saying it is a must-watch movie for students, teachers, and parents alike. This movie has grossed over 10 million rupees at the Nepali box office so far.
Produced under the banner of Seven Seas Cinema, this movie is directed by John Yonzon.
Mukun Bhusal, Sushank Mainali, Renu Yogi, and Sirjana Adhikari are in the lead roles in the movie. Nirbhik Regmi, Rinchen Lama, Samyam Katuwal, and Sejal Shrestha are the child actors in the movie.
Binod Paudel and Janvi Paudel are the producers of the movie, while Chhatramaya Giri and Ramesh Chaulagain are the co-producers. "Roll No. 1" is written by Mahesh Dawadi.
Shivaram Shrestha is the DOP of this cinema, Prashant Shiwakoti is the music composer, and Madan Ghimire is the editor.
