Mental Hospital Launches Online Ticket Service

The Mental Hospital in Lagankhel has launched an online OPD ticket service for patients.

The hospital brought the online ticketing system into operation in line with the implementation of Point No. 32 under the 100-point agenda related to governance reform, which was approved by the meeting of the Government of Nepal, Council of Ministers on March 27, 2026 (Chaitra 13, 2082 BS).

On Tuesday, a monitoring team from the ministry inspected the hospital under the direction of the Minister for Health and Food Hygiene, Nisha Mehta, and issued the directive.

Through the online system launched by the hospital, patients can book OPD tickets directly from the hospital's website. The hospital stated that this arrangement will eliminate the need to stand in long queues at the hospital to get a ticket.

According to the hospital, patients purchasing tickets online can also pay the ticket fee through digital means. The hospital believes this will make service delivery smoother, faster, and more transparent.

The hospital informed that, except on public holidays, OPD services will run from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. However, patients who have booked tickets online are requested to arrive at the hospital between 9:30 AM and 12:30 PM for the morning OPD, and between 2:30 PM and 4:30 PM for the afternoon OPD.
