KMC to Provide Free Kidney Transplant for Flood Victim Bishnu Kumari Dangol

Kathmandu. Kathmandu Medical College has decided to perform a free kidney transplant for 41-year-old Bishnu Kumari Dangol, who lost the financial resources required for the procedure due to floods.

Kathmandu Medical College stated that considering the patient's condition after facing medical difficulties due to the financial crisis caused by the flooding, the decision for a free transplant was made out of humanitarian support. Bishnu Kumari's husband is Rajkumar Dangol.

According to the hospital, Kathmandu Medical College will bear all hospital-related expenses from the patient's admission to the successful completion of the kidney transplant and discharge.

The college stated that helping treat flood-affected citizens during this difficult time of disaster is its social and humanitarian responsibility.
