Roshan KC to Debut in 'Ganga Rani', Paired Opposite Barsha Siwakoti

Newcomer Roshan KC has been signed as the lead actor in the upcoming movie 'Ganga Rani', directed by National Film Award-winning screenwriter Raj Bahadur Sane. Roshan bagged the lead role in his debut film after being selected from over 500 applicants. This marks his debut in cinema.

Actress Barsha Siwakoti had already been signed for the lead role earlier. Audiences will get to see the pairing of Roshan and Barsha on the big screen for the first time in 'Ganga Rani'.

Roshan, who started his acting journey through a few music videos, is excited about 'Ganga Rani'. He shared that he ready to make his debut through this movie as he got the opportunity to work with an excellent story and an experienced team.

Following the signing of Barsha Siwakoti, the production team had opened auditions for 4 actors and 4 actresses. Roshan was selected as the lead actor through the same audition. Director Sane stated that Roshan was chosen as the lead actor from over 500 applicants.

According to Director Sane, the process of selecting the remaining 3 actors and 3 actresses based on the photos and videos received from the audition is in its final stage. "We are selecting artists who match the characters from among the talents who auditioned. We will publicize the names of the other artists soon," Director Sane said.

Produced under the banner of Aha Films, 'Ganga Rani' is produced by Kamal Prasad Sharma. Written and directed by Sane himself, preparation is underway to start filming the movie from the second week of Bhadra.

Director Sane has previously directed movies like 'Pathshala', 'The Return Hero', 'Lati', 'Vrindavan', 'Birangana', 'Doli', 'Good Friend', 'Silly Fo', 'Bulaki', 'Juna', and 'Sitamol'.

Meanwhile, the movie 'Lajjawati', produced under the banner of Aha Films and also directed by Sane, is preparing for release from Shrawan 29.
