Dayahang and Bijay's Conflict in the ‘Baristha Balram’ Trailer

Kathmandu. The trailer for the film ‘Baristha Balram’ has been officially released. The trailer prominently features the struggle between the movie's two main characters, Dayahang Rai and Bijay Baral.

The core conflict of the cinema revolves around the moment Bijay sets his eyes on the river where Dayahang, the contractor for stones and sand, holds a monopoly.

The trailer highlights the conflict between Bijay, who feels marginalized due to his poverty, and Dayahang, who tries to put a stop to Bijay’s interference in the river from which he extracts materials.

Dayahang is seen strutting with authority, surrounded by followers, while Bijay is shown to be in love with the young woman, Samriddhi Aryal.

The trailer depicts the ambition of Bijay, who lacks status and background, to change his destiny, contrasted with the obstinance of Dayahang, who is determined not to let his power decline.

It captures the attempts of Dayahang to rule the river as his personal property and Bijay's efforts to gain a share of that dominance.

The rivalry between the person striving to elevate their status and the person fighting to maintain their status looks fascinating in the trailer. Dayahang is portrayed in the character of Baristha (Senior) and Bijay in the character of Balram.
