Two Posters of 'Aa Bata Aama' Released; Film Slated for Magh 16 Release

The team behind the Nepali film 'Aa Bata Aama' (आ बाट आमा), which has announced its release date for Magh 16, released two new posters on Wednesday. The production team unveiled the two posters, which reflect the core story of the film.

The film is primarily based on the emotional relationship between parents and their children, set against a rural backdrop.

The powerful slogan featured on the poster clearly encapsulates the emotional conflict: ‘Ba Aamale Pasinale Ghar Banaunu Bhayo, Hamile Rahar Ra Badhyata ‘Passport’ Banaunu Paryo’ (Our parents built the home with their sweat, but we had to build the 'passport' out of desire and compulsion).

This line indicates a story revolving around the distance and emotional complexity arising from foreign employment or compulsion.

The two released posters depict contrasting emotions among the cast. In one poster, the main actors, including Bipana Thapa, Pradeep Rawat, Paul Shah, Simran Pant, and Saigrace Pokharel, appear to be happy and cheerful.

Conversely, the second poster is deeply emotional; Bipana Thapa and Pradeep Rawat, who play the husband and wife, are shown embracing and weeping, while Paul Shah, playing the son, is covered in blood.

The film is directed and written by Chandra Panta and presented by Arya Pant under the banner of Aryaa Entertainment. The ensemble cast includes Bipana Thapa, Pradeep Rawat, Paul Shah, Saigrace Pokharel, Simran Panta, Usha Upreti, Bishal Pahadi, Rabindra Jha, Gajit Bista, and others.

The film is produced by Omkar Pant, Krishna Prasad Subedi, Dhruv Neupane, Prakash Kunwar, and Chhitij Dhungana, with Karan Singh Rasaili serving as the executive producer.

Navaraj Upareti handled the cinematography (DOP), and the music is composed by Koshish Chhetri, Babul Giri, and Thaneshwar Gautam. The film has already secured international distribution rights in some countries.

A couple of weeks ago, Himaru Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. acquired the rights to screen the film in Australia and New Zealand. RR Films is responsible for domestic distribution, and OSR Digital holds the film's digital rights.aa-bata-aama-(1)-1762923746.jpg
