"Sakela Nachau" Song from Maijharo Movie Released
Kathmandu – The much-awaited Nepali movie Maijharo, set to release on Kartik 7 (October 24, 2025), has officially launched its song "Sakela Nachau".
Released through OSR Digital’s YouTube channel, the song is sung by Rajesh Payal Rai and Melina Rai. Written by Padam Sadhana Kulung and composed by Torempa Hang, the track blends traditional Kirati folk tunes enriched with flute, murchunga, dhol, jhyamta, and sarangi.
Supporting vocals are given by Suresh Rai, Manoj Sangson Rai, Monika Rai, and Binusha Rai, while Raju Karki handled the music production, mixing, and mastering.
Directed, written, and scripted by Wilson Bikram Rai (Takme Budha), Maijharo is presented by Takme Production in association with Highlander Crew.
The film features a strong cast including Dhiraj Magar, Miruna Magar, Deeya Pun, Sunil Thapa, Maotse Gurung, Buddhi Tamang, Puskar Gurung, Prem Subba, Abhaya Raj Baral, Rajani Gurung, Anil Subba, Kabita Ale, Uday Subba, Subash Shing Thakuri, Bishal Limbu, Bhupendra Lingden, and Sandhaya Namagang.
Highlighting cultural authenticity, the song showcases the famous Sakela dance of the Kirati community, offering audiences a vibrant experience of Nepal’s rich tradition and heritage.
Maijharo will hit theaters nationwide on Kartik 7 (October 24, 2025).
