Pakistani Ambassador Khan expresses condolences to RSS family

Pakistan's Ambassador to Nepal Mohammad Aamir Khan has met with the family of Rashtriya Samachar Samiti (RSS) and expressed his condolences to flood-affected journalist Kalika Khadka.

Ambassador Khan, who visited the RSS central office in Bhadrakali, expressed his grief over the disappearance of journalist Tekraj Thami, husband of RSS worker Khadka, in the Bhotekoshi flood. He said, "Nepal, RSS and journalist Khadka's family are suffering due to the flood. I urge you to exercise patience and restraint in this difficult situation."

Ambassador Khan expressed his sorrow over the disappearance of journalist Thami. He said that he was ready to provide necessary assistance while inquiring about Khadka's family situation. In the course of this, Ambassador Khan said that Nepal and Pakistan have historical and family ties and that relations are also strong in the educational sector.

Informing that many Nepali youth have been receiving scholarships in Pakistan, Ambassador Khan expressed his commitment to provide educational support to Khadka's daughter. During the visit, Ambassador Khan visited the RSS Museum and said that the RSS's contribution to the field of journalism is unparalleled.

Stating that Nepal and Pakistan also have deep interrelations in the field of cultural heritage, he expressed his willingness to collaborate with the RSS.

Ambassador Khan expressed Pakistan's commitment to support and cooperate with the global community by standing by Nepal on climate justice.

Sandeep Rai, General Manager of the National News Committee, said that they are willing to establish institutional cooperation in coordination with Pakistan. He emphasized the need for cooperation between the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) and the RSS.

RSS Editor-in-Chief Uttam Silwal said that the role of the news committee can be further strengthened through cooperation between Nepal and Pakistan.

RSS Chief News Reporter Ekraj Pathak informed about the problems Nepal is facing due to climate change in the current situation and informed about the possible collaboration between Pakistani media and RSS in the coming days.
