Dr. Sunil Sharma Elected Unopposed as Regional Representative

Kathmandu: Nepali Congress leader and President of the Girija Prasad Koirala Foundation, Dr. Sunil Kumar Sharma, has been elected unopposed as a regional representative from Ward No. 4 of Belbari Municipality, Morang, for the 15th General Convention of the Nepali Congress.

With his unopposed election as a regional representative, Sharma’s journey toward the 15th General Convention has officially begun.

Sharma, who has been carrying out countless humanitarian service projects nationwide in the health and education sectors, has provided free medical treatment to impoverished and helpless citizens unable to afford care, as well as educational support to underprivileged students.

Through social service activities such as free medical treatment, surgeries, health camps, and educational assistance for needy students, he continues to serve various regions across the country.

Since taking leadership of the Girija Prasad Koirala Foundation, Sharma has maintained his campaign to improve access to healthcare for impoverished and helpless citizens and support the education of deprived students. His active involvement in health, education, and social service remains widespread across the country.

Following his unopposed election as a regional representative from Belbari Municipality–4, Sharma has moved forward in the Congress 15th General Convention process. All representatives selected for the General Convention from this ward were chosen unanimously, continuing the tradition of unanimous representative selection at the ward level.
