'Paran' Trailer: The Pain of a Father Searching for the Closeness of His Children

Kathmandu. The trailer for the film 'Paran,' which is set to be released on Kartik 14 (October 31), has been made public. The film's trailer was launched at an event held at Ranjana Hall in Kathmandu.

The released trailer suggests that the film will present a family story of Nepali society. Specifically, it appears to try and portray the emotional pain of a father in the later years of his life who is searching for the proximity of his children.

The film's plot is built around the situation that arises when parents desire the company of their children in old age, but the children choose to pursue their own ambitions. Veteran actor Nir Shah plays the lead role in the film. Since Nir Shah, widely known as the Bhishmapitāmaha (Grand Patriarch) of acting in Nepali cinema, is playing a lead role after many years, there is special anticipation for this film.

The film is primarily expected to attract family audiences. The film's trailer has also been prepared in a way that appeals to this particular segment of viewers.

'Paran' is directed by debut director Deepak Prasad Acharya (Kaku). Acharya also wrote the story for the film, while the screenplay and dialogues were prepared by Yam Thapa. The film is produced by 'Bioscope Cinema Pvt. Ltd.,' a company established through a partnership between the country's prestigious business houses, the Golchha Group and the Prisma Group.

The film stars veteran actor Nir Shah, Mahesh Shah, and Anjana Baraili, along with Madan Krishna Shrestha, Pooja Chand, Keki Adhikari, Praveen Khatiwada, Buddhi Tamang, Yaseli Yonghang, Babin Rai, Pushparaj Ojha, Seema Kafle, Daman Rupakheti, Yaman Shrestha, Subrataraj Acharya, Suresh Thapa, Binod Rai, and child artist Aryadeep Acharya.
