US-Based Actress Pooja Chand Returns to Nepal for 'Paran' Promotions

The promotional campaign for the highly anticipated film 'Paran', set for release on Kartik 14, has officially kicked off with the arrival of actress Pooja Chand from the United States. Chand landed in Nepal today (Monday) at 11:10 AM, where she was welcomed at the airport by the film's director, Deepak Acharya.
Speaking briefly to reporters upon arrival, Chand expressed her excitement, revealing she spent her 18-hour journey reviewing film clips. She confirmed she will be dedicating approximately one month in Nepal entirely to the film's promotions.
"The film 'Paran' is incredibly special to me. I'll be giving my full time to the promotions," she stated. "This is a family story, and I am confident everyone will love it. Also, having the opportunity to work with Mr. Nir Shah is another big joy for me."
A Powerful Team Behind the Scenes
'Paran' marks the directorial debut of Deepakprasad Acharya (popularly known as Kaku from Sakkigoni), signaling his shift from successful comedy television to feature filmmaking.
The movie boasts an impressive ensemble cast featuring industry veterans like Nir Shah and Madankrishna Shrestha, alongside Chand, Keki Adhikari, Mahesh Tripathi, Buddi Tamang, and child artist Aryadeep Acharya, among others.
Produced by Baiscope Cinema Pvt. Ltd., the film has raised audience expectations even higher due to its backing by the country's prestigious business conglomerates, the Golchha Group and Prisma Group.
The technical team includes music by Riddam Kandel, vocals by Pramod Kharel, Pushpan Pradhan, and Rachana Rimal, cinematography by Shivaram Shrestha, and editing by Mitra D. Gurung.
