New Poster for 'Harsha' Unveiled: Khagendra, Barsha, and Child Artist Simon Hint at a Wholesome Family Story!

Kathmandu.A new poster for the upcoming Nepali cinema, 'Harsha,' which is set to be released on Mangsir 12 (November 28, 2025), has been made public. The new poster, unveiled on Friday, features the three main characters of the film: Khagendra Lamichhane, Barsha Raut, and child artist Simon Wadi.

The poster clearly suggests that the film is built around a complete family narrative. Khagendra and Barsha are presented happily with their son, giving the impression that the film's core story revolves around the affectionate bond of parents with their child and the joyous moments that come with it.

Director and Cast Details
The film is directed by debut director Ekta Paudel, who is the niece of the late director Shiva Regmi. Paudel, who studied filmmaking at the New York Film Academy, holds a bachelor's degree in Mass Communication and a master's in Management and Leadership. She has previously directed several short films and has been assuring audiences that 'Harsha' will be an excellent cinematic offering.

The cast of the film includes Nir Shah, Santosh Panta, Sharmila Malla, Maotse Gurung, Bishal Pahadi, Nima Pandey, Loonibha Tuladhar, Anshu Maharjan, Renu Pradhan, Subarna Thapa, Shristi Maharjan, and Sirjana Napit, in addition to Khagendra, Barsha, and Simon.

Crew and Production
The story of the film is penned by director Paudel herself. The technical team includes Aalok Shukla as the cinematographer, music by Samir/Himal, Basanta Sapkota, and Alish Karki, editing by Lokesh Bajracharya, and choreography by Sunil Chhetri and director Paudel.

Produced under the banners of Ashtalakshmi Productions and E-Prime Movies, Prasanna Paudel and Bikash Paudel are the producers, and Hikmat Chokhal is the executive producer. Ishwor Ghimire is the Production Manager, and Kuldeep Sharma is the Chief Assistant Director. The film will be distributed by Kafiya Films and DCN, with Budha Subba Digital serving as the digital partner.

Trailer Release and Promotional Campaign
The production team is preparing for the trailer launch this coming Tuesday, Kartik 18 (November 4). Following the trailer's release, the team plans to aggressively ramp up their promotional campaign ahead of the film's theatrical release on Mangsir 12 (November 28).
