Nepali Movie 'PR' Release Date Announced

Kathmandu: The release date for the movie 'PR', directed by Shobhit Basnet, has been announced. The production team has declared that the film will be released on December 12, coinciding with the occasion of Kaag Tihar (Crow Tihar).

Produced under the banner of Salon Salina Films, the movie features R.A. Suraj Paudel, Binita Karki, Rajan Kunwar, Pooja Chaudhary, Ashma Adhikari, Bimala Khatri Max, Ganesh Budhathoki, Krishna Thapa, and Nabin Ghayal in lead roles.

The film is based on an emotional story connected with love, struggle, and immigration. Ranjit Sah and Santosh Tiwari are the presenters of the film, while Laxman Sapkota and Pradip Dahal are the producers.

According to the production team, the movie 'PR' focuses on the dreams, struggles, and the underlying realities of Nepali youth going abroad as the main subject of its story.

Ganesh Buddhathoki has written the screenplay for the film, and Bande Prasad has done the editing. It features music by Manas Raj and Bhim B.C., and Ramji Lamichhane has handled the choreography. Saurav Manandhar and Saurav Lama have shot the movie.

Regarding the film, director Basnet stated that the audience will find romance, action, and a social message in this movie.

He said, "We are bringing 'PR' to the audience as "The story of Nepal, the dream and struggle of Nepali youth." I am confident that the audience will get a different flavor." RR Films has taken the responsibility for the distribution of the movie.
