Nepali Film ‘Muglan’ Set to Release on December 25 (Poush 10)

Kathmandu. The new Nepali film ‘Muglan’, produced under the banner of Rehan Production, is scheduled for release on December 25 (Poush 10). The production team announced the release date on Monday by unveiling the film’s first look poster.
The public first look features actor Prabhat Pal and actress Smarika Dhakal in rural attire. Prabhat appears to be about to play a flute, while Smarika is shown in a modest, shy pose. This hints at a love story between the two and suggests that the film encompasses the backdrop of Nepali village society, love, and the experience of living abroad (Paradesh).
The film stars Prabhat Pal, Smarika Dhakal, Shree Shivanshu, Dinesh DC, Moti Subedi, Ramchandra Adhikari, Kha.Ba.Pu., Raju Raj Soni, Rashmi Bhatta, Jeevan Gautam, and Sabin Bastola, among others.
Ashish Dhakal wrote and directed the film, with Goman Singh serving as the producer and Rita Chaudhary as the co-producer.
The film’s editor is Tara Thapa ‘Kimvhe’. Action sequences were directed by Jay Bishta and Ram Guru, and the background music (BGM) is by Rhythm Kandel. Devendra Kunwar is the choreographer, and Ajay Regmi is the Director of Photography (DOP).
The music for the film was composed by Kiran Bhushal, with vocals by Shantishree Pariyar, Pratap Das, Benisha Poudel, Hari Giri (Vimarshi), and others. The lyrics were penned by Ashish Dhakal, Sirjana Lamsal, and Hari Giri (Vimarshi).
According to the production team, ‘Muglan’ will illuminate the story of youths' dreams of going abroad, their village romance, and their struggles. The film’s promotion is currently in full swing, and RR Films has taken the responsibility of distribution.
