Teaser of Nepali Film ‘Muglan’ Released: A Story of Struggle, Dreams, and Love

Kathmandu – The teaser of the upcoming Nepali film ‘Muglan’, produced under the banner of Rihan Production, has been released. The film’s teaser was unveiled on Sunday through Yuna Digital’s YouTube channel.

The 39-second teaser portrays the story of a young family struggling with financial difficulties. To secure a better life for his family, the protagonist travels to India for labor work.

The teaser highlights the hardships he faces abroad and the challenges inflicted by local authorities back home. It captures the family’s struggle to achieve happiness and the young man’s determination to fulfill his dreams, presenting a story that reflects Nepali society.

‘Muglan’ aims to explore the dreams of Nepali youth abroad, the love for their villages, and their struggles. The film, scheduled for release on Poush 10, stars Prabhat Pal and Smarika Dhakal in the lead roles.

The cast also includes Shree Shivanshu, Dinesh DC, Moti Subedi, Ramchandra Adhikari, Raju Raj Soni, Rashmi Bhatt, Jeevan Gautam, and Sabin Bastola.

Written and directed by Ashish Dhakal, the film is produced by Goman Singh, with co-production by Rita Chaudhary.

Tara Thapa ‘Kimbhe’ handled the editing, while Jay Bisht and Ram Guru contributed to the action direction. The BG music is composed by Riddim Kandel, choreography by Debendra Kunwar, and cinematography by Ajay Regmi.

The film’s music is composed by Kiran Bhusal, with vocals by Shantishree Pariyar, Pratap Das, Benisha Paudel, and Hari Giri (Vimarshi). Lyrics were written by Ashish Dhakal, Sirjana Lamsal, and Hari Giri (Vimarshi). RR Films is responsible for the film’s distribution.
