'Mirmire's Two Posters Released, Featuring Lead Actors

Kathmandu. Two posters for the film 'Mirmire,' directed by Yam Sherpa, have been made public.

The posters feature the main actors of the film.

Dayahang Rai and a child artist, as well as Prakash Saput and Srijana Ninglekhu, are featured in the posters. The first poster features Dayahang Rai and Shaisha Gauchan.

Dayahang and Shaisha are set against a backdrop of dim light and mountains. They appear to be a father and daughter. Both seem to be under some stress. They look as if they are waiting for someone or in a state of separation/grief. The poster suggests that Dayahang is also fulfilling the role of a mother to his daughter.

The second poster features Prakash and Srijana. Prakash is dressed as a student, and Srijana as a teacher. Srijana is seen with a gentle smile, and Prakash with a cheerful laugh.

The production side has not clarified whether the relationship between these two is solely that of teacher and student or if they are lovers. Looking at their ages, Prakash doesn't appear to be Srijana's student.

'Mirmire' is scheduled for release on Magh 1. The film, presented by Yarsa Films, stars Dayahang Rai, Prakash Saput, and Srijana Ninglekhu in the lead roles. The other cast members include Maotse Gurung, Chhulthim Gurung, Bholaraj Sapkota, and others. The child artists in the film are Shaisha Gauchan, Divisha Panta, Chirag Shrestha, and Namanraj Gajurel.

This marks the first collaboration between Dayahang and Prakash. However, this is Yam's second collaboration with Dayahang. Dayahang was also in the lead role in Yam's first directorial venture, 'Karsang.'

Yam himself wrote the story for 'Mirmire' in addition to directing it. The cinematographer for the film is Alok Shukla.

Nimu Sherpa, Chhongba Lama Sherpa, and Angchhirin Sherpa are the producers of 'Mirmire,' with Govind Bohara and Sudip Kunwar as co-producers. The executive producer of the film is Rohit Kattel, the film distributor who also runs RR Films.

Birendra Shahi is the line producer for the film, with Sudip Kunwar as the chief assistant director, Sanju Thalang Limbu on makeup, and Dilip Pant as the production controller.

The responsibility for nationwide distribution of the film 'Mirmire' has been undertaken by Rohit Kattel and Ratna Shrestha's RR Films.
