Massive Crowd for 'Paran' as Arghakhanchi Cement Extends Support
Kathmandu. As 'Paran' started receiving widespread praise, cinemas have seen a massive crowd of audience members. Social media platforms are also filled with discussions about the film.
Moved by the story and theme presented in the film, Arghakhanchi Cement Limited organized a special 'Corporate Show' to screen the film for its employees and dealer business partners. The Corporate Show was held at Civil Mall in Sundhara on Saturday at 2:45 PM for their dealers.
After watching the film, the employees appeared quite emotional. Following the screening, Ramesh Thapa, General Manager of Arghakhanchi Cement Limited, said: "The film depicts the story of our own homes. Sons and daughters are leaving the family to go abroad, parents are becoming lonely, and villages are starting to empty. This film, which encompasses these very issues, has given a good message to society. Films with such storylines are necessary."
'Paran', which covers the familial story of Nepali society, is based on the tale of a father who is seeking the companionship and love of his children in the latter part of his life.
The film realistically portrays the emotional distance and circumstances that arise when parents yearn for the closeness of their children in old age, while the children prioritize their own aspirations.
The veteran actor Neer Shah plays the lead role in the film. Known as the 'Bhishma Pitamah' of acting in the Nepali film industry, Shah's return to a lead role after many years has made this film a subject of special interest.
This movie, which presents a message-oriented and emotional story for family audiences, has received positive reactions from viewers of all ages.
'Paran' is directed by debut director Deepak Prasad Acharya (Kaku). The story of the film is also by Acharya, while the screenplay and dialogue were written by Yam Thapa. The film was produced by Baiscope Cinema Pvt. Ltd.
The film features strong performances by artists including Neer Shah, Mahesh Shah, Anjana Baraili, Madan Krishna Shrestha, Pooja Chand, Keki Adhikari, Pravin Khatiwada, Buddhi Tamang, Yaseli Yonghang, Babin Rai, Pushparaj Ojha, Seema Kafle, Daman Rupakheti, Yaman Shrestha, Subrat Raj Acharya, Suresh Thapa, Binod Rai, and child artist Aryadeep Acharya.
