'Maijharo' Promotion Heats Up: Takme Busy with Musical Performances in Various Eastern Cities

Kathmandu: The promotion for the film 'Maijharo,' which is set to be released on Kartik 7 (October 24), has started on a large scale. The production team has intensified the publicity for their film.

In this connection, they have organized musical programs in various cities in the Eastern Region of Nepal. Currently, most e-rickshaws and autos in the East appear to be decorated with 'Maijharo' posters. Posters for 'Maijharo' are hanging everywhere on the autos.

Wilson Bikram Rai, the film's director, writer, producer, singer, and comedian, is working hard to bring his film to the audience. He is engaging the audience with laughter and a musical blast through his own performance.

He will be joined by 'Rai is King' singer Rajesh Payal Rai, musician and singer Anmol Gurung, along with the main actors of the film, for an outstanding presentation. Yesterday, Thursday, a large-scale concert was held in Dharan as part of the film's promotion, which saw the presence of thousands of Dharan residents.

Today, the team of director Wilson Bikram Rai is set to give a musical performance in his home district. The program will be held on Ashoj 25 (October 12) at Mukti Chowk in Birtamod. The production side has organized musical events in Birtamod and Damak in Jhapa, Belbari in Morang, and Itahari and Dharan in Sunsari. The director Rai informed that the program in Birtamod is taking place today as part of this series.

"We are engaged in widespread promotion of the film Maijharo," he said. "We have organized this program to entertain the audience and to inform them about the film's upcoming release in theaters. This is also a new approach."

Previously, the film's promotional materials, including the poster, two songs, and a teaser, had already won the hearts of the audience.

However, the director felt this much promotion was not enough, so he has now plunged into reaching the audience through musical programs. This is also his debut direction, and he is determined to leave no stone unturned in its promotion.

The film, which is also written and invested in by director Rai, tells a genuine love story. The cast includes actors such as Dhiraj Magar, Miruna Magar, Diya Pun, Buddhi Tamang, Sunil Thapa, Puskar Gurung, Abhay Raj Baral, Maotse Gurung, Kabita Ale, Rajani Gurung, Prem Subba, Uday Subba, Anil Subba, Bhupendra Lingden, and Bishal Limbu.

Produced under the banner of 'Takme Production,' the film's songs have music composed by Anmol Gurung and Torrem Pahang Rai.

The vocals are by Rajesh Payal Rai, Jhuma Limbu, Melina Rai, Asmita Adhikari, and others. The film is shot by Saurab Lama, distributed by RR Films, and the digital rights have been acquired by OSR Digital.
