Wilson Bikram Rai's 'Maijaro' Gets 'Universal' Certificate, All Ages Can Watch
Kathmandu: The film 'Maijaro', scheduled for release on Kartik 7 (October 24), has passed censorship. The Central Film Censor Board under the Government of Nepal has granted the film a 'Universal Certificate'.
With the film receiving a 'Universal Certificate', it can now be viewed by audiences of all ages. Written and directed by Wilson Bikram Rai, the film portrays the lifestyle, culture, and social reality of the Eastern Hills. Rai himself is credited with the story, screenplay, and direction of the film.
The film stars Dhiraj Magar, Miruna Magar, Diya Pun, Sunil Thapa, Kabita Ale, Puskar Gurung, Abhay Raj Baral, Uday Subba, Buddhi Tamang, Rajani Gurung, Bishal Limbu, and Subhash Singh Thakuri, among others. The songs in the film feature the voices of Rajesh Payal Rai, Asmita Adhikari, Jhuma Limbu, and Anmol Gurung, with music arranged by Anmol Gurung and Torempha Hang Rai.
A few days ago, the 'Sakela' song included in this film was released, and previously, a 'Love Song' was also released. The film has generated a kind of buzz among the audience since the release of its poster.
Following the release of the 'Sakela' song, the excitement among the audience appears to have increased. Produced under the banner of 'Takme Production', the film's cinematography was done by Saurav Lama. D.B. Rai and Sarina Lama Rai are the producers, and the film is currently being extensively promoted.
