Pooja Sharma Joins 'Mahadasha,' Reuniting with Niruta Singh and Uttam Pradhan
Kathmandu. Actress Pooja Sharma has been signed as the lead actress for the film 'Mahadasha' on the auspicious day of Laxmi Puja during the Tihar festival.
The actress, who officially joined the film on Monday, expressed her happiness at getting this opportunity.
The film, which marks the directorial debut of producer Kiran Nepali, has already signed veteran actors Niruta Singh and Uttam Pradhan—popular for their iconic pairing in the classic film 'Darpan Chhaya'—along with hip-hop artist Hakim Gurung, Pramod Agrahari, and Prema Lamagade.
Audiences will now get to see the powerful performance of Pooja Sharma, one of the most prominent actresses of the current generation, alongside Niruta and Uttam.
The cast also includes Binod Neupane, Rear Rai, Prabhat Lama, Ramchandra Adhikari, Kamal Devkota, Pushkar Bhatt, Dinesh Kafle, Ranjan Koirala, Yuvik Raj Shah, Smriti Kalmar, and Eliz Pun, among others.
According to director Kiran Nepali, the film will present a story focusing on various aspects of society and challenging life circumstances.
Produced under the banner of Lekali Entertainment, the film features a screenplay by Manish Gautam, with Rajendra Shah, Shyam Magar, and Amaladevi Rai as producers. Suraj Acharya, who has been actively involved in the technical aspects and production control for a long time, will serve as the Executive Producer.
