Film ‘Lokanti’ to Release Nationwide from Mangsir 26, First Look Poster Released

Kathmandu: The Nepali feature film ‘Lokanti’, produced under the banner of Krishan Films, is set to release in cinemas across the country on Friday, Mangsir 26. 

Along with the announcement of the release date, the first look poster of the film has also been unveiled.

Directed by Ranjit Rana, the film is presented as a complete family drama, focusing on themes of family, love, struggle, peace, and subtle social conflicts.

Asraj Garach plays the lead role in the movie. Shot in real and natural locations of Kavre district, ‘Lokanti’ aims to highlight social sensitivities hidden within a family love story.

The film is produced by Santosh Nyaupane. Alongside Asraj, actress and model Richa Thapa shares notable onscreen chemistry. 

Other key actors include Bimala Limbu, Kumar Nyaupane, Bikash Adhikari, Daman Rupakheti, and Govinda Prabhat. 

The film marks the acting debut for Kumar Nyaupane and Bikash Adhikari, both of whom are excited about their first project.

The music direction is by Bikash Chaudhary, with cinematography by Ronish Tamang Chyangba. 

With its emotional and socially rooted storyline based on Nepali culture, ‘Lokanti’ is expected to offer audiences a fresh cinematic experience.
