Formal Announcement: Nepali Film ‘Kangal Karodpati’ to be Produced

Kathmandu. A new Nepali feature film, ‘Kangal Karodpati’ (Destitute Millionaire), is set to be produced under the banner of Cinema Pathshala. The film's construction was formally announced today during a program held in Kathmandu.

Production and Direction
The film will be produced and directed by Raju Shrestha. This marks the directorial debut for Shrestha, who has been active in the film industry for a long time. Kaif Khan is also listed as a producer, though information was received that he was absent from the event. The story, screenplay, and dialogue have been written by Suman Gajmer.

Cast and Crew
Umar Khan and Padam Lohor will be seen in the lead roles, while Manoj KC is the Executive Producer. Director Shrestha stated that the search for the remaining cast members is currently underway.

Theme and Filming Schedule
According to the production team, the film will capture the state of a normal person becoming a millionaire and a millionaire becoming destitute. The production team plans to begin shooting in the month of Falgun.
