Late Actor Shree Krishna Shrestha’s ‘Kahan Bhetiyela’ to be Remade, Featuring Kedar and Dhiraj Magar in Lead Roles

The popular film ‘Kahan Bhetiyela,’ which starred the late actor Shree Krishna Shrestha, is set to be remade under the same name. The original movie, released in 2008 and directed by the late Shiva Regmi, marked the film debut of actress Shweta Khadka.

Milan Tamang, the director of the currently running film ‘Maitighar,’ has announced that he will be making the remake of ‘Kahan Bhetiyela.’

Director Tamang announced on Tuesday that this film, produced by Shakti Namobuddha Films Pvt. Ltd., will be his second directorial venture.

According to the production team, the filming of the movie is planned to start on Chaitra 20  and be completed by the end of Jestha. While the release date has not been finalized, the production side states that the song sequences will be shot in the month of Magh.

Director Tamang has not yet revealed the full cast and crew for ‘Kahan Bhetiyela.’ He is expected to provide complete information about the film in a few days.

The film, which obtained a production license from the Film Development Board last Asar, is mentioned to feature actors including Kedar Prasad Ghimire (Magne Buda), Dhiraj Magar, Buddhi Tamang, and Shyama Shree Sherpa.

Director Tamang began his directorial journey with ‘Maitighar.’ The film, which was released on Fulpati of Dashain, is currently receiving praise from the audience.

Speaking about the remake, Director Tamang said, "The love and support the audience has given to ‘Maitighar’ has given me new energy. I will take ‘Kahan Bhetiyela’ to the next level and give the audience a different experience."
