‘Paran’ Breaks the Wave of Disappointment, Supported by Jagdamba Pvt. Ltd.
Kathmandu – The Nepali film Paran has emerged as a significant success in the film industry, breaking the wave of past disappointments. Even after two weeks of release, the movie continues to attract audiences in theaters and is widely discussed on social media.
Recently, Nepali cinema has been gradually shifting towards films that prioritize story and emotions. In the past, many films relied mostly on action with weak storylines, leaving audiences disappointed. Paran has successfully broken that trend.
Meanwhile, Jagdamba Motors Pvt. Ltd., the official distributor of TVS motorcycles, hosted a corporate screening of the film for its employees and their families. The event was held at Civil Mall in Sundhara. Jagdamba’s representatives praised the film for reflecting the realities of Nepali society and emphasized the need for more films that deliver positive social messages.
A representative said, “This film tells a story rooted in our own social environment. It presents the narrative emotionally, and the actors’ performances make the film even more impactful.”
Paran portrays the emotional journey of a father seeking love and connection with his children in the later stages of life. Veteran actor Neer Shah plays the lead role.
