'Harsha': Khagendra Lamichhane in a Romantic Avatar for the First Time; New Song Released

The second song, ‘Kutu Kutu Kasto Maya Lagyo Barilai’, from the film 'Harsha', which is directed for the first time by Ekata Poudel, has been made public.

In the song, which was released on Friday, the film's two main actors, Khagendra Lamichhane and Barsha Raut, are presented in a romantic avatar. This is the first time actor Khagendra Lamichhane has appeared in a romantic role in ‘Harsha’.

The video of the released song features choreography by Sunil Chhetri. The song's video seems successful in creating excitement among the audience for the film.

This song, composed by Alice Karki, features the vocals of Sanish Shrestha and Apsara Ghimire. The lyrics are penned by Neerkamal Khadka (Mamal), and the arrangement, mixing, and mastering have been done by Shailendra M Pradhan (Babu).

Singer Sanish Shrestha rose to fame after 'The Voice of Nepal Season 2'. The singer, who had subsequently appeared to be quite absent from the public eye, has made his debut in playback singing with the film ‘Harsha’, which is set for a nationwide release starting from (Mangsir 12). He believes this song will establish him in the music industry.

Director Ekata Poudel is the niece of the late director Shiv Regmi. Poudel, who studied filmmaking at the New York Film Academy and holds a bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, and a master's degree in Management and Leadership, has previously directed several short films.

Besides Khagendra and Barsha, the film features the acting talents of Nir Shah, Santosh Panta, Sharmila Malla, Maotse Gurung, Bishal Pahadi, Nima Pandey, Lunibha Tuladhar, Anshu Maharjan, Renu Pradhan, Suvarna Thapa, Shristi Maharjan, Sirjana Napit, and child artist Saimon Waadi.

The film's technical credits include cinematography by Alok Shukla, music by Samir and Himal, Basanta Sapkota, and Alice Karki, editing by Lokesh Bajracharya, and choreography by Sunil Chhetri and Director Poudel.

Produced under the banner of Asthalaxmi Productions and E-Prime Movies, the story of the film is written by Director Poudel herself.
