Haribansha Acharya's 'Hari Bahadurko Jutta' Successfully Screening in the US
The film 'Hari Bahadurko Jutta,' which premiered in Nepal on Ashoj 13 (Fulpati of Dashain), is currently being screened in the United States as well. After earning over 39 million Nepalese Rupees (NRs 3.9 Crore) in Nepal and still running, the film collected NRs 68 Lakh in its first week in the US.
The movie has received a good response from the audience in Dallas, Texas, and the state of Ohio, which have a dense population of the Nepalese community.
The Haribansha Acharya-starrer social-comedy drama has been distributed in the US by Aahan Paudel. Aahan is the son of Nepalese film distributor Ujwal Paudel, and this is his first distribution venture.
'Hari Bahadurko Jutta,' which was released on 80 screens in the US in its first week, is currently running in theaters in Pennsylvania, Queens (New York), Hurst, Pickerington (Ohio), Ashburn (Virginia), Nashville (Tennessee), Cambridge (Massachusetts), Hartford (Connecticut), Hooksett (New Hampshire), Johns Creek (Georgia), Buford (Georgia), and Gaithersburg (Maryland).
The film, produced by Saroj Oli and Mohitbansha Acharya, stars actors including Haribansha Acharya, Swastima Khadka, Priyanka Karki, Prakash Saput, Harihar Sharma, Kiran KC, and Divya Dev.
