Film ‘Haribahadurko Jutta’ Busy with Promotion

The film Haribahadurko Jutta, which is set to release from September 29, the day of Dashain’s Phoolpati, is currently busy with promotional activities. Encouraged by the responses received from its promotional materials, the film team organized a press meet on Thursday, attended by the main cast, producers, and director.

The film’s trailer has already showcased glimpses that resonate with the current Gen-Z generation’s movements and demands.

For this reason, questions regarding this topic were asked with great interest during the press meet. Haribansha says, "This story was prepared about a year ago. What the youth are demanding and raising their voices for now is exactly what our film’s story is about."

He further adds, "Our film was completed some time ago and has already passed the censor. If we had released it two months later, viewers might have said the film was made based on Gen-Z’s demands.

But since it will release from September 29, it proves that the topic we addressed has been on everyone’s mind." He mentioned that the alignment between the film’s content and the voice of Gen-Z is purely coincidental.

He emphasized that the film is not just a comedy. "We edited the trailer in a fun way, but the film is not purely comedy. After watching the trailer, audiences can feel that the film raises some serious issues," Haribansha explained.

In the Gen-Z movement, a shoe became a symbolic representation, and in this film too, the shoe is used symbolically. This coincidence itself is remarkable. According to actor Acharya, the film not only addresses corruption highlighted by Gen-Z but also powerfully portrays nepotism.

Directed by Dipendra K. Khanal, the film features Haribansha Acharya, Swastima Khadka, Prakash Saput, Priyanka Karki, Harihar Sharma, Divya Dev, Kiran KC, Rajaram Paudel, Dinesh Kafle, Sita Nyaupane, Kamalmani Nepal, and others.

Produced under the SM Motion Pictures banner, the film is produced by Saroj Oli and Mohitbansha Acharya. Cinematography is by Krishna Bahadur Thapa, editing by Nakul Khadka, and music direction by Basanta Sapkota, Deepak Sharma, and Prakash Saput.
