Finale of Miss Universe Nepal 2025 to Be Held Today

Kathmandu: The finale of the globally renowned beauty pageant franchise, Miss Universe Nepal 2025, is scheduled to take place today. The event will begin at 4 PM at the Royal Tulip Hotel in Kathmandu, where 14 contestants will compete for the title.

The participants include Sanya Adhikari, Pratiksha Adhikari, Nirjala Nyaupane, Isha Rai, Aarohi Basnet, Lisa Barnawal, Suyasa Sinharaj, Sikha Parajuli, Saraswati Rai, Barsha Kandel, Jyoti Thapa, Alina Aeri, Angel Dangol, and Sonalisa Dhungana.

According to national director Sangeeta Puri, the preparations for the Miss Universe Nepal finale, organized by Global Glamour Venture, have been completed. She noted that participation this year was better than last year and that all 14 finalists are equally talented. 

Director Puri had previously announced that the pageant criteria for Miss Universe Nepal had been made more inclusive, with no restrictions based on height, weight, or category. Consequently, women of different heights and professions are participating this year.

She said, “I have always said that this is a platform to showcase the limitless potential of Nepali women. Your beauty is exactly how you are.”

This year, Miss Universe Nepal was also presented as a reality show. Sabi Puri, chairperson of Miss Universe Nepal, shared that the six episodes of the reality show released on YouTube featured contestants competing in cultural photoshoots, kitchen challenges, runway challenges, and more. The pageant’s choreographer is Dikpal Karki.
