Pradeep Shahi's 'Eklo' Teaser Released, Set for January 1st Screening

The teaser for the Nepali science fiction film 'Eklo' has been released on OSR Digital's official YouTube channel. Featuring a unique storyline that sets it apart from regular Nepali cinema, the film is scheduled to be screened on January 1st (Poush 17), coinciding with the English New Year.

Having previously gained international recognition at the Cannes Film Festival stall, 'Eklo' is directed by Pradeep Shahi, who has been living in the UK for a long time. Shahi, who previously directed films like 'Gorkha Beneath the Bravery' and 'Antim Sanskar' (both released on Amazon Prime), is producing 'Eklo' with Hollywood-level technology and presentation.

The film stars Pradeep Khadka, Vijay Lama, Sunil Thapa, Diya Pun, Benisha Hamal, Dinesh DC, Kavita Nepali, Suraj Singh Thakuri, child artists, and British actor Jamie Bacon. Financed by an NRN group, Binod Subedi 'Kshitij' is the executive producer, and actor Pradeep Khadka is also an investor.

The team aims to expand the Nepali film market internationally. The cinematography is handled by Babu Shrestha. 'Eklo' is viewed as a serious attempt by the Nepali film industry to deliver a high-quality production based on scientific imagination. Apple Entertainment, FD Company, and Rich Entertainment are handling the distribution.
