Nepali Song ‘Chhaina Ra Maya’ Filmed in Tetang Village, Mustang, Showcases Stunning Natural Beauty
Kathmandu – Popular Nepali musician Prakash Dutraj’s new song ‘Chhaina Ra Maya’ was released on Friday. The song features Prakash Dutraj, Melina Rai, and Anjali GC in the lead roles.
The music video was filmed in Tetang Village, Mustang District, located at an altitude of approximately 3,040 meters.
Mustang is renowned for its unique natural beauty. The region features cold winds, villages nestled at the foothills of the Himalayas, and is known for apple, potato, buckwheat, and wool production, as well as salt mines, soda water springs, highland pastures, and yak caravans.
In the past, Tetang villagers traded these locally produced goods not only within Nepal but also as far as Tibet.
The video captures the lifestyle, culture, and natural environment of the village. The production team expressed gratitude to the fathers, mothers, brothers, and sisters of Tetang Village for their support.
Vocals in the song are provided by Prakash Dutraj and Melina Rai. Lyrics, music, and arrangement are by Prakash Dutraj.
Krishna KC arranged the music, Shyamshwet Rasaily handled mixing and mastering, while Khadak Budha Magar and Poshan Gharti Magar played the madal. Other instrumentalists and group vocalists also contributed to the song.
The video was directed, edited, and color graded by Nabin Gharti Magar, with choreography by Mukesh Nepali. Cinematography was handled by Anil K. Manandhar, and drone operation by Abinash Manandhar.
