Lyricist Padma Linkha Magar’s “Bato Alag Alag” Released
Kathmandu — A new Nepali ghazal titled “Bato Alag Alag” has been released, creating a fresh wave in the Nepali music industry. Sung and composed by Thaneshwor Gautam, the song is an artistic attempt to honor the grandeur and diversity of Nepali music.
Written by Padma Linkha Magar, composed by Thaneshwor Gautam, and arranged by Narayan Dangal, the ghazal beautifully blends emotional depth with musical richness. Bhuwan Gandharva has handled the rhythm section, adding a sense of depth and sophistication to every note of the composition.
The soulful use of Gopal Dev’s flute and Manish Gandharva’s sarangi further enhances the emotional appeal of the song. The recording, done by Laxman Century, and the mixing and mastering by Bimal Chinnal, have resulted in an exceptional sound quality.
The music video features Pushpa Khadka, Anjana Pun, and Sudhir Shrestha in lead roles, with Sudhir Shrestha’s guest appearance adding a special charm to the video.
The video is directed and choreographed by Ramji Lamichhane, with cinematography by Man Krishna Maharjan. Subash Maharjan and Navaraj Khadka have contributed as assistant cinematographers. The video is edited by Bande Prasad, with Umesh Thapa Magar as the assistant editor.
“Bato Alag Alag” is a part of the ghazal album “Nazar – 6 (Ghazal)”, recorded at Gatishil Recording Studio. The song is expected to leave a lasting impression among listeners as a modern representation of Nepali ghazal music.
