'Baristha Balaram' Earns Two Crores in Five Days

Kathmandu. The movie 'Baristha Balaram' has grossed a collection of two crore rupees.The film achieved this milestone within five days of its release.

'Baristha Balaram' crossed the two-crore mark by Kartik 10, according to producer Ashish H Tamang.

"So far, our film has grossed over two crore in five days," producer Tamang stated, adding, "Our film is still running with high occupancy."

He informed that the audience has appreciated the film's depiction of emotional bonds and local bullying/thuggery. "The message of the cinema, that not only blood ties but emotional bonds are equally strong, is being highly appreciated by the audience," Tamang said. "They have also liked the exploitation of local resources and the love story."

The audience has also openly praised the different presentation of actors Dayahang Rai and Vijay Baral, he added.

About the Film

'Baristha Balaram' is directed by Surendra Paudel. It is a presentation of Vrishabha Siddhi Entertainment in collaboration with Aanvi Films. The cast includes Dayahang Rai, Vijay Baral, Samriddhi Aryal, Pashupati Rai, Maotse Gurung, Bholaraj Sapkota, Rambabu Regmi, Pradeep Kumar Chaudhary (PK), and others.

The film's story and editing are also handled by director Paudel, while the screenplay is written by Mahesh Dawadi. The producers are Ashish H Tamang and Shriraj Karki, with Pradip G Dhami and Pushkar B Ghimire as executive producers. Ram Bisht is the line producer.

The technical team includes Mankrishna Maharjan for cinematography, Prashant Siwakoti for music, Samrat Basnet for action direction, and Pradeep Lama for choreography. The film is being distributed by DCN within the Kathmandu Valley and Kuber Cine Distribution outside the Valley.
