"Barishtha Balram" Team Visits Regions After Strong Word of Mouth, Receives Enthusiastic Audience Response

Kathmandu. The team behind the film "Barishtha Balram" has begun a trip to western Nepal to meet regional audiences, following its successful run in Kathmandu. The film, which was released on the occasion of Tihar's Bhai Tika festival, has garnered strong word of mouth across the country, prompting the cast and crew to visit theaters and gather audience feedback.

The film's actors, Bijay Baral and Samriddhi Aryal, along with director Surendra Poudel, started their journey to meet regional audiences on Friday.

According to director Poudel, "Barishtha Balram" is receiving an enthusiastic response from regional viewers as well. "Most of the viewers who have seen it are calling it a film with a unique Nepali story and saying it is a must-watch," Poudel stated. He added that the film has successfully won the hearts of the regional audience, just as it did in Kathmandu.

The film's strong word of mouth is evident from the numerous houseful shows since its release and the 70 to 80 percent occupancy it has achieved in many theaters. Due to the high audience turnout, some theaters even added extra shows on Saturday. Director Poudel reported that many shows were houseful, and even in shows that weren't, the occupancy remained above 70 percent.

The film, starring Dayahang Rai and Bijay Baral, has been receiving positive reviews from the very first day, making the production team hopeful about its box office performance.

Directed by Surendra Poudel, "Barishtha Balram" features performances by Dayahang Rai, Bijay Baral, Samriddhi Aryal, Pashupati Rai, Maotse Gurung, Bholaraj Sapkota, and Rambabu Regmi, among others. The story and editing were done by director Poudel himself, and the screenplay was written by Mahesh Dawadi.
