'Banko Mirga' Folk Dohori Song Released: Featuring Arjun Sapkota and Usha Upreti
A new Nepali folk dohori song, 'Banko Mirgha Orali Jhareko' (The Deer from the Forest Descended the Hill), has been officially released, featuring the vocals of prominent singer Om Rodan and singer Deepika Bayambu Magar.
The song premiered on Om Rodan's official YouTube channel on October 14, 2025, and has since been receiving a positive reception from the audience.
Om Rodan himself penned the lyrics and composed the music for the song, which was arranged and mixed/mastered by HBN Kismat.
The emotional and melodious presentation of the track has resonated well with listeners. The recording took place at the 1DB HD NEXT LEVEL studio, with Raj Khadka serving as the recordist.
The visually appealing music video, directed by Mausam Himali, features the impressive acting of popular artists Arjun Sapkota, HBN Kismat, Usha Upreti, and Aarushi Magar.
The chemistry between Arjun Sapkota and Usha Upreti, in particular, has been praised by viewers. Ajay Regmi and his team handled the cinematography, while Manoj Karki was responsible for the editing and color grading.
'Banko Mirga' has already amassed over 68,793 views in a short period since its premiere, suggesting it will be one of the successful folk dohori songs of the Nepali year 2082.
