Abhimanyu: Chapter 1’ Release Date Changed, Now to be Released Worldwide on Kartik 21 (November 7)

Kathmandu. The release date of the film ‘Abhimanyu: Chapter 1’ has been rescheduled. Considering the current situation of the country, the production team decided to change the release date.

Earlier scheduled for Ashoj 24, the film will now be released on Kartik 21 (November 7).

Producer Binod Paudel announced the new release date through a Facebook post.

According to Paudel, the decision was made to ensure that the film could be released in a safe environment with easy access for audiences. He also expressed hope for viewers’ support and cooperation during adverse circumstances.

‘Abhimanyu: Chapter 1’ is targeted not only at Nepali audiences but also at viewers worldwide. The film will be released simultaneously in both Nepali and Hindi languages across theaters in Nepal.

In addition, it will also premiere in India and various other countries worldwide on Kartik 21. The production team believes this will help the film reach a broader audience.

Produced under the banner of Seven Seas Cinema, the film features Kameshwar Chaurasia, Sarita Giri, Kiran Shrestha, Laxmi Bardewa, Gaumaya Gurung, Prakash Dahal, and Shishir Wangdel in lead roles.

The film is directed by Sushant Gautam, with Madan Thapa serving as the creative director. The story is written by Mukesh Khanal.

The producers of ‘Abhimanyu: Chapter 1’ are Binod Paudel and Gunjan Giri. Co-producers include Ramesh Chaulagai and Hari Shrestha, while the executive producers are Bishal Lama, Hari Moktan, Krishna Bhattarai, Nirajan Luintel, and Sandesh Shrestha. Jivan Shakya worked as the line producer.

The film’s DOP is Sharad Mahato, with Manoj Shrestha in charge of VFX, Junim Gahatraj handling color grading, and Madan Ghimire serving as the editor.
