Kalika Secondary School Receives Various Materials from Former Students
Pokhara. Former students of Kalika Secondary School, located at Aapubhanjyang, Pokhara-33, have handed over various materials to the school.
The students who passed the SEE in 2075 B.S. from the school installed fans in every classroom and made additional electrical arrangements.
On Friday, during a program organized at the school, the students also handed over sports and stationery materials to the School Management Committee Chairperson, Mohan Bahadur Thapa, Parent-Teacher Association Chairperson, D.B. Bishwakarma, and Headmaster, Rupindra Prabhawi. Sushil BK, Madan Acharya, and Suresh Gurung, representing the group, jointly handed over the materials.
During the program, former student Sushil BK stated that they provided the support they could out of a sense of duty towards the school. He explained that the program was organized not because they had an abundance of money, but to remind everyone of their responsibility towards the school they attended, and he thanked the entire school family.
He also committed to returning to the school with similar programs in the future. According to him, former students Sanjay BK, Susmita Sunar, Prakash Pun, Kartik Bania, Suresh Gurung, Subodh Gurung, Purnima Shrestha, Shivraj Chapagain, Sushil BK, Preeti Shrestha, Mandip Ranabhat, Pavitra Lama, Madan Acharya, and Bhuwan Thapa, residing both inside and outside the country, contributed to purchasing the materials.
At the program, which was chaired by Assistant Headmistress Balkumari Thapa, the School Management Committee Chairperson, Mohan Bahadur Thapa, thanked the former students for their support and urged other students to also contribute as much as they can.
Parent-Teacher Association Chairperson, D.B. Bishwakarma, noted that the school is gradually doing good work and expressed happiness that former students are also joining in to work for the benefit of the school. The program was conducted by teacher Sirjana Mahat.
