James School Signs Agreement for Cooperation with Two Prestigious Japanese Schools

Kathmandu: Nepal's James School has signed an educational cooperation agreement with two prestigious Japanese schools—Asahijuku Secondary School and Kashima Gakuen High School.

In the presence of a delegation including the Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the Japanese schools, James School signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for a sister-school partnership with both institutions on Wednesday.

Under the partnership, cooperation will take place in areas such as educational and cultural exchanges, capacity building for students and teachers, and sports and extracurricular activities. The collaboration is expected to provide opportunities for students and teachers from both countries to understand each other's culture, educational practices, and experiences.

Speaking at the event, Rajesh Khadka, Founding Chairman of James School, shared insights into the school's establishment and growth journey, emphasizing the importance of international experience and cross-cultural learning in the development of the youth generation.

Shinichi Omari, Chairman of the Japanese Schools Management Committee, expressed happiness over collaborating with James School and expressed confidence that the partnership would create new opportunities for students and teachers from both Nepal and Japan.

The school views this partnership as an important step toward expanding international engagement and further strengthening educational and cultural ties between Nepal and Japan.
