Goreto Supports Bhotekoshi Flood Victims with Rs. 1,051,000

Expressing deep sorrow over the loss of lives and property caused by the devastating flood in the Bhotekoshi River, Goreto Consultancy has donated Rs. 1,051,000 (ten lakh fifty-one thousand rupees) to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund.

Goreto Consultancy Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dhiraj Kandel said the contribution was made with the aim of providing at least some relief to families who lost loved ones, as well as to those injured and displaced by the disaster.

“We may not be able to make a large contribution, but we wanted to stand with Nepali brothers and sisters who have lost their loved ones, been injured or become homeless,” Kandel said. “Our contribution is intended as a small gesture of relief and solidarity with families whose lives and homes have been devastated in an instant.”

Goreto Consultancy Marketing Manager and Senior Counselor Prakash Regmi expressed heartfelt condolences to those who lost their lives in the disaster and extended sympathy to the bereaved families.

Regmi said the Goreto family had joined the relief campaign to stand in solidarity with people affected by the disaster. He also wished a speedy recovery and safe return to normal life for those injured and affected.

Goreto said the contribution of Rs. 1,051,000 was not merely financial assistance but also a message of solidarity with citizens affected by the disaster.

The consultancy also appealed to everyone to extend support and cooperation during the difficult time, saying that collective compassion, assistance and unity could bring hope to affected families. Goreto has been involved in various social initiatives and humanitarian activities since its establishment.

The devastating flood that entered Nepal through Tibet last Wednesday caused significant loss of life and property in several districts, including Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading and Chitwan. Many families have been affected by the floods and landslides, while others have lost their loved ones. The country remains deeply saddened by the scale of the disaster.
