Nepal Esports League Added to Calendar
Kathmandu. The Esports Association of Nepal (ESAN) has released its annual event calendar. ESAN made the annual calendar public by incorporating both national and international events.
During the event announced on Sunday, the league-format Nepal Esports League was officially declared. The association announced the esports league tournament with a scheduled timeframe spanning approximately three months.
Similarly, the PUBG Mobile Global Open South Asian Championship is scheduled to take place from Bhadra 31 to Ashoj 3 (September 16 to September 19), while the 10th National Games has also been included in the esports calendar. This marks the first time esports has been included as an official sport in the National Games.
Furthermore, an Inter-College Championship is slated for Paush (December–January), and the Nepal Esports League has been scheduled from Magh to Chaitra (January–April). ESAN Secretary Ashish Dahal stated that the calendar was introduced with the objective of running esports activities throughout the year.
"We have announced a league-structure tournament with the objective of making Nepal’s esports professional and organized. The association believes this will add a new dimension to esports in Nepal," Secretary Dahal said.
