Civil Engineering Students from Gyanodaya School Observe Nepal Echo Panel Industry
Kathmandu: Civil engineering students from Gyanodaya Secondary School, Kathmandu, conducted an on-site study of modern and eco-friendly construction materials in Bhaktapur on Friday.
As part of the technical civil engineering program, 49 students visited the Nepal Echo Panel industry. During the visit, students gained practical knowledge by observing the production process of EPS cement-based sandwich panels.
During the program, Er. Krishna Sundar Kumpakha, Project Manager and Earthquake Engineer at Nepal Echo Panel, provided detailed information on the entire process—from raw materials to the finished product. He explained how these modern construction materials are utilized in building sustainable and earthquake-resistant structures.
On the occasion, Er. Krishna Bhakta Duwal, CEO of Nepal Echo Panel, stated that the industry has been regularly facilitating students from various colleges and technical institutions across the country. He emphasized that such visits are crucial for bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.
CEO Duwal added that Nepal Echo Panel is evolving not just as a production center, but also as a learning hub for promoting environment-friendly construction technology in Nepal.
