First Poster of New Nepali Film ‘Chirag’ Released, Tyagmurti in Lead Role
Kathmandu: The first poster of the new Nepali film ‘Chirag’ has been released. The production team unveiled the poster while announcing the release date. ‘Chirag’ is set to release nationwide from Mangsir 5.
The poster features actor Tyagmurti, who is seen playing a transgender role and is shown being harassed. Tyagmurti is the lead actor of the film and has also written and directed it.
The film carries the tagline, “The Lamp of Hope Never Goes Out.” Alongside Tyagmurti, the cast includes Sushil Pokhrel, Pragya Joshi, Shubhas Gajurel, Damodar Bhandari, Sher Bahadur DC, Sankala Gautam, Naresh Prasad Bhatt, Manoj Acharya, Madhawa Khanal, Minakshi Khanal, and child actor Sagar Kharel.
The co-writers of the film are Naresh Prasad Bhatt and Sankala Gautam. The producers are Sankala Gautam, Naresh Prasad Bhatt, and Tyagmurti.
The film, produced under the Harinanda banner, features songs sung by Deepak Limbu and Asmita Adhikari. The background music is composed by Loknath Sapkota, and mixing is done by Ashish Sunuwar.
The film was shot by Rahul Rai and Mefuz Ansari, and edited by Subhash Devkota. Kalpesh Bishwakarma handled the color poster work, while VFX was done by Dinesh Dhakal.
The film’s makeup is by DK Hamal, and the songs and music are also composed by Tyagmurti.
