Water Flow to Remain Normal in Most Rivers Across Nepal for Next Three Days

Kathmandu. The Flood Forecasting Division under the Secretariat of the Water and Energy Commission has stated that the water flow in most small and major rivers across the country will remain normal over the next three days.

According to the bulletin issued by the forecasting division on Monday, the water flow in most rivers nationwide is predicted to stay normal from Ashwin 12 to 14 (September 28 to 30).

The water levels in the Koshi, Narayani, Karnali, Mahakali, Kankai, Kamala, Bagmati, East Rapti, Tinau, Banganga, West Rapti, and Babai rivers remain normal. According to the latest flood forecast bulletin released by the division, although the water level in the Narayani River reached above the warning level, it is currently on a receding trend.

The division noted in its bulletin updated as of 8 AM today that water levels in other major and tributary rivers across the country remain below the warning level and are in a normal condition.
