“Advance ticket booking for ‘Rimai’ opens: How many shows are available?”

The movie 'Rimai', which will be released nationwide from Bhadra 20 (tomorrow, Friday), has opened for advance ticket booking. The advance ticket booking, which was opened yesterday, Wednesday, has already been sold out for shows in multiplexes and single-screen theaters across the country by Thursday evening.

The impact of the movie’s premiere held yesterday, Wednesday, was also visible in the shows available at the theaters. The movie received excellent responses at the premiere show. Starring Dayahang Rai and Rishma Gurung in the lead roles, the movie has been made available by the country’s largest multiplex chain, QFX, with 14 shows in the Kathmandu Valley and 18 shows in other regions.

Meanwhile, the country’s second-largest multiplex chain, INI Cinemas, has offered 5 shows across its five halls, One Cinemas has 7 shows, Big Movies 2 shows, Fcube Cinemas 3 shows, BSR Movies 2 shows, Ranjana Cineplex 5 shows, SK Cinemas 2 shows, and Cine D Safe 2 shows. The production team has expressed confidence that additional shows will be added if audience demand increases.

Produced by Gorkha Siran Chok & Liggiligot Films Pvt. Ltd. in collaboration with Roteping Entertainment, the movie features Dayahang Rai, Arpan Thapa, Rishma Gurung, Gaumaya Gurung, Kabita Ale Magar, Maotse Gurung, Puskar Gurung, Birmaya Gurung, Birbal Ghale, D.V. Gurung, Tek Gurung, and child actors Asim Subba, Prestu Gurung, and Prashna Rana Magar.

The screenplay is written by poet and director Upendra Subba, and the cinematography is by Shailendra Dhwaj Karki. Birbal Ghale is the executive producer, while Tika Gurung, Jit Yatri Gurung, and Dun Bahadur Ghale are producers, and Binu Gurung, Roshan Bhattarai, and Rajesh Ghimire are co-producers.

Directed by Khila Bahadur Gurung, the movie’s music is composed by Deepak Sharma and Thaneshwar Gautam, Kiran Chamling Rai is the chief assistant director, Bishnu Mainali is the production manager, and editing is done by Mitra D Gurung.
