NRNA Investment Summit to Be Held in Kathmandu This October

The Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) International Coordination Council (ICC) has announced that it will host the NRNA Investment Summit in Kathmandu this October.

The decision was made during the fifth meeting of the ICC, chaired by NRNA President Mahesh Kumar Shrestha. According to ICC General Secretary Baburam (B.R.) Lama, the summit will take place on October 11–12, 2025 (corresponding to Ashoj 25–26, 2082 B.S.), coinciding with the celebration of NRNA Day.

The summit will be organized in collaboration with various government agencies and key private sector institutions. General Secretary Lama stated that the event aims to contribute to Nepal’s economic development and play a vital role in creating a conducive investment environment for Non-Resident Nepalese.

Additionally, a marathon event will be held on the first day of the summit (October 11), with Vice President Manoj Shrestha appointed as its coordinator.

The meeting also approved President Shrestha’s upcoming visit to Europe in August, during which a regional conference for Europe will be organized. The exact date and location of the European conference will be announced soon, said NRNA Spokesperson Gangadhar Gautam.

Moreover, the ICC has decided to hold a special general assembly on September 21 in the UAE. The assembly aims to address and amend certain current limitations within the organization’s statute.
