Nepali Cricket Team Starts with a Win, Set to Play Against Japan on Saturday

Kathmandu. The Nepali cricket team made a victorious start in the Asian Games by securing a five-wicket win against Afghanistan.
In the match played at the Korogi Athletic Park in Japan on Friday, Nepal chased down the target of 103 runs set by Afghanistan in 17.2 overs, losing five wickets.
For Nepal, Sundeep Jora scored 34 runs, Rohit Kumar Paudel remained undefeated on 33, and skipper Dipendra Singh Airee made 15 runs.
For Afghanistan, Faridoon Dawoodzai, Abdullah Ahmadzai, and Arab Gul took one wicket each.
