Narayan Subedi Runs for NRNA Japan Vice President

Kathmandu – Narayan Subedi, a social activist from Kanepokhari, Morang, has announced his candidacy for the position of Vice President of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) Japan, scheduled for July 25. He has presented his candidacy for the 2025–2027 term with the agenda “Not for slogans, but for support-oriented NRNA.”
Living in Fukuoka under Japan’s Kyushu region since 2013, Subedi entered Japan as a student and has been continuously involved in social work. He is known in the Nepali community in Japan as a responsible, helpful, and popular personality.
During his stay in Japan, Subedi has successfully conducted several initiatives in collaboration with the Nepali Embassy, including “Ghumti Sewa, Fukuoka,” “Nepal Festival Fukuoka,” “Hakata Dontaku,” interaction programs with the Fukuoka Immigration Office, and support campaigns for Nepalis in crisis.
He has also contributed significantly to the sports sector. Through “Khukuri FC,” he has organized various tournaments, creating opportunities for young Nepali players. Subedi has also been at the forefront in guiding new students and workers with employment and settlement support.
Alongside his social work, Subedi has held various positions in NRNA, including Member, Treasurer, Honorary Member of the Regional Committee, and Member of the National Council. With the slogan “Politeness in speech, proactiveness in action, and unwavering commitment to building a trustworthy NRNA,” he has appealed to all Nepalis in Japan to elect him with overwhelming votes.
Due to his leadership skills, social responsibility, and service mindset, Narayan Subedi is becoming a symbol of hope for Nepalese residing in Japan.
