‘Maya Basyo’ Marks Directorial Debut of Nirajan Pradhan, Starring Keki Adhikari and Raghav Dahal

Kathmandu: Popular model and actor Nirajan Pradhan has made a grand return to the entertainment industry—not as an actor, but as a director. Nirajan has officially debuted as a director through the music video of the newly released romantic song ‘Maya Basyo’.

The song, voiced by beloved singers Sugam Pokharel and Samikshya Adhikari, features popular actress Keki Adhikari and rising actor Raghav Dahal in leading roles. The video follows a photo-story style presentation, exploring a love story that begins with a glance and deepens into a bond described as “deeper than the ocean and longer than the river.”

The song’s lyrics are written by Sargam Ghatane, depicting mutual admiration between a couple, who promise to stay together through joys and hardships.

The music is composed and arranged by Yogesh Kaji Shah, with Manoj Pariyar handling the mixing and mastering. Arjun Tiwari is behind the camera as the DOP, with drone shots by Suresh Kafle. Prabin Shrestha has taken care of the editing and color grading, while Roshan Bishwakarma is responsible for the choreography.

Nirajan, who once dominated Nepali music videos and acted in several films, shared, “I always wanted to direct, and finally got the chance. I hope the audience supports my direction just as they appreciated my acting.”

The music video is produced in collaboration with Success Education and Visa Services, and the producer is Sanuska Dahal.
