Nepali Film Mahadasha to Mark Director Kiran Nepali’s Debut

Kathmandu — Producer Kiran Nepali is set to make his directorial debut with the upcoming Nepali film Mahadasha. The film’s title was announced and its pre-teaser released at an event held on Wednesday at Raja Lounge, Bishwajyoti Mall, Jamal, in the capital.
The pre-teaser, produced by Lekali Entertainment, was released through Budhasubba’s official YouTube channel. Director Nepali has previously been involved as a producer in dozens of films.
In the pre-teaser of Mahadasha, lead actors Pramod Agrahari, Prema Lamgadh, and Hakim Gurung are showcased in traditional attire. According to the production team, information about other cast members will be revealed later.
Written by Manish Gautam, the film is funded by Rajendra K. Shah, Shyam Magar, and Amala Debi Rai, with Suraj Acharya serving as the executive producer.
The film reportedly explores themes of rituals, culture, spirituality, as well as mysterious events in society, highlighting the influence of planets, stars, and karma on human life. Production managers Anish Adhikari and Samar Chaulagai are also part of the team. The film’s release date will be announced after the completion of shooting.
